On July 29, Alex O’Rion delivers the final single from 'The Deep Mixes' compilation. 

Dutch producer Alex O’Rion is a rising star on Hernan Cattaneo’s SUDBEAT label. Originally producing trance, O’Rion has now found his groove within deeper, progressive sounds. He is regularly supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, and more. 

Alex O’Rion’s extended remix of Matt Lange’s ‘Rift’ is the highest-selling track on last month’s ‘20 Years Of Anjunabeats: The Deep Mixes’ compilation, which sat in the #1 spot on the Beatport charts for over 2 weeks. Now, it is available on all music platforms. The groove-fuelled and melodic climax to James Grant’s ‘Anjunadeep: 03’ mix, Matt Lange’s ‘Rift’ (2011) is a showcase of the US producer’s unparalleled engineering skill.

London Grammar - Strong (Judah Remix)

A Colombian of rare quality and distinction, Kamilo Sanclemente has been a force to be reckoned with via his "Beyond the Future" series. A trio of new track opens "Vol. 4". Joined by Fernanda Olaya on the powerful rhythmic force of "Empty Spaces"., a bouncing bassline is soon accompanied by a beautifully ethereal synth line. Textured pads contribute to an unhurried feel before a sparkling arp and haunting vocal enters at the mid-point. The result is a progressive house tour de force that adds more melodic layers and effects post-breakdown to dramatic effect. A darker vibe exudes from "Dissension" with its steady beat and hypnotic bass sequence. Melodic layers fill the mid-range as a filtered arp rises and falls with the bass pattern. New motifs make their presence felt at the stripped back mid-point as they shimmer and undulate into the second half rhythmic melange. The final offering sees Kamilo and Zalvador create a wonderful "Coalition". Trademark synth lines combine with a heavy beat and rolling percussive groove as filtered motifs and running melodies cascade off each other in bright sonic patterns. Converging half-way, a series of effects and white noise fills sit behind the melodic patterns as the dynamic rhythm creates an immaculate and club-friendly finale.

Danny Bonnici is a name requiring little introduction to the underground dance fraternity. A legendary figure and part of the triumvirate that made up the NuBreed act, the Australian star has gone on to achieve notable success under his own name for over a decade. Collaborations with fellow countryman, Luke Chable, have garnered much success as have releases for the likes of Open Records, Balance Music and John Digweed's Bedrock. Making his Proton Music debut, the Danny Bonnici remix of Kamilo Sanclemente & Mauro Aguirre's "Ambar" is a sparkling, haunting gem that resonates with melodic themes found in the original while a swathe of effects and new production material showcases precisely why the Australian is such a revered figure. Hitting its stride post-breakdown, a glorious new sustained bassline glides across the driving rhythmic foundation while pads and intermittent keys add depth to mesmeric interpretation.

Proton favourites, Trilucid, have mined a rich seam with a trademark sound that sees them sat regularly atop the progressive house charts. Through 2019's "Glint", 2020's "Astral" and July 2022's remarkable "The Loved Are Never Lost", The UK duo have harnessed a glorious sound that speaks volumes for their production prowess. Remixes for Pole Folder, Stas Drive and Petar Dundov have illustrated their credentials as they return to rework Kamilo Sanclemente's "Innocense", written with Giovanny Aparicio. Harnessing the rich melodic vibe, Trilucid have transformed the earworm motif of the original by encasing it within a crisp new rhythmic shell and nourishing it with a shimmering array of new counterpoint melodies that sit effortlessly alongside as though they were destined to be together. The result is a sublime club gem that waxes and wanes with dancefloor know-how, the epitome of exquisite modern progressive house.

Hitting the heights for a timely fourth time, "Beyond The Future" continues to show the way forwards.

Russian duo Volen Sentir return to Anjunadeep for their first single release on the label, ‘Mimoraya’.

The duo made their Anjunadeep debut back in 2020 with two lush mixes of Ben Böhmer & Malou’s ‘Lost In Mind’, which collectively gained over 3m streams, and have since gone on to release on Lost & Found, All Day I Dream and Shanti Moscow Radio, amongst others.

Volen Sentir provides two mixes for the single, both utilising traditional Russian vocals. In the original mix, Volen Sentir combine a driving rhythm section with a groovy baseline whereas the alternative mix features deep textures and delicate counter melodies. The duo’s latest showcases their versatile productions that have gained them support from the likes of Eelke Kleijn, Sasha and Sébastien Léger.

Volen Sentir - Mimoraya (V-Mix)

A lot of progressive goodness comes out of the big landmass “downunder” and today we are heading back to Australia for another original artist, as we are happy to present you, another cool work from the Melbourne bound producer Firas Tarhini.

The 27 year old producer brings on a melodic beast called “Purity” on our roster”, filled with sparkling elements, driving chords and effective bass sounds. It’s a solid production that we have seen from him on other labels in the past, for example through Makira Records, OLD SQL Recordings and more. It’s going to be a pleasure to see the response on this one.

To compliment, you are also to face 2 reworks on the track, coming from Tunisian DJ and producer, DJ Massymo TN as well as the Serbian ace Erik Iker.

DJ Massymo TN brings on quality textures to the original melody, a bit more “out of space” feel with trance elements and we feel he has done superb here to give the track another direction and dimension,

Erik Iker puts on his trademark rolling chord progressions to add more drive and pounding feel and make a true floors stomper. It’s effective together with the original melody, that is so catchy and summer-ish.

We feel truly happy having this release with us, and we do hope you feel the same way to!

This delightful track is complimented by the deeper reverence and more laidback sounds of ‘Dallah’, which is an enthralling solo effort by Kevin.

The latest release on Clubsonica Records finds Golan Zocher returning to the label for his debut single 'Shush'. The Colombian born, Israel based artist made his debut on the Colombian imprint in June of 2017 with a remix (in collaboration with Kamilo Sanclemente) of 'Expression' by Dmitry Molosh. 2018 then saw Golan return for his second remix, a stunning take on Andre Sobota's 'Missing Line'. Also laying claim to releases on Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, Golan now returns to Clubsonica for his first single alongside remixes from Alex O'Rion and Supacooks.

Sitting comfortably in deeper territory Golan crafts a redolent framework complete with harmonious grooves, sultry hooks and spirited electronics. Diversifying his portfolio further Golan's masterstroke is to collaborate and introduce the gorgeous vocals of MILA. Hailing from Colombia and an artist of profound talent, she infuses the piece with authentic soul and genuine emotion. Breathy wails and romantic storyboards come in waves, effortlessly drifting through a maze of organic drums and melodic clusters, before reaching a serene and spiritually uplifting finale.

The first interpretation of 'Shush' is provided by Alex O'Rion who makes his label debut. In addition to appearances on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, the Dutch artist has also found a home on Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and ICONYC. Always a regular in Beatport's Progressive House charts, Alex now debuts on Clubsonica with a superb remix of 'Shush'. Aptly coined 'Deep Dub', the Dutch artist strips the groove down, putting a focus on harmonious bass and ghostly vocal fragments. Dreamy yet powerful, it's free flowing narrative quickly draws you in to a storyboard of luminous tones and dusty sweeps, while a carefully crafted break sits at the core, before effortlessly shifting energy into a glowing finale.

The release concludes with Supacooks providing the second and final interpretation of 'Shush'. The Armenian duo have also been a staple in Beatport's Progressive House charts for some time. A string of well received releases for Beatfreak Recordings, Dear Deer and Parquet Recordings have made them one of hottest production duos of the moment. Now making a welcome debut on Clubsonica, Supacooks deliver a superb rendition of 'Shush' to cap the release off in style. Otherworldly in nature, tough beats and crisp percussion anchor the journey as the piece flows through a series of vocal edits and pulsating rhythms. 'Antrim’s Or Two Strangers begins the new year by welcoming Analog Jungs back to the label for a new EP. 2019 saw the Cordoba duo deliver their well received ‘Universe / Particle’ EP for the label, while also showcasing their music on Balkan Connection, Beat Boutique, Droid9 and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden. Alsoa favourite of progressive house tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo, Analog Jungs now return to their comfortable of Or Two Strangers with ‘Liria’ alongside a remix from Kamilo Sanclemente& Mauro Aguirre.

Beginning with the title track ‘Liria’ Analog Jungs explore the deeper spectrum of progressive minded house. Its warm, full bodied groove is perfectly sculpted, flowing through emotive chord changes while finely tuned percussion and joyous arps add a buoyant flair. Rising atmospheres elevate mood as the main break commences, with creamy tones adding to the melodic narrative. Eventually melting down to an iridescent glow of colour and texture, the near two minute centrepiece might be the most impassioned moment of Analog Jungs career. Sure to capture the heart of your dance floor before perfectly shifting energy into a driving finale. The companion piece ‘Ocean’ continues the warm, inviting ethos of the EP with a robust, rolling groove, lively rhythms and waves of fiery percussion. Now coming together for the first time in 2020, Kamilo and Mauro round out the release with a stunning interpretation of ‘Liria’. Tough and driving, the groove commands a large presence as melodic fragments and astral effects adorn the framework. Evolving with a veteran’s savvy, timely drops and tasteful modulation provide a rising wave of tension, as piercing stabs continue to push momentum forward. Madloch’s Sound Avenue continues a successful year by welcoming Nopi back to the label for his debut EP. The Ukrainian artist and organic house favourite has highlighted 2020 with a pair of remixes for the Belgian imprint, reworking Bigasti & Balad’s ‘The Days’ and ‘Pearl’ by Paula OS. Having built an impressive resume at just over eighteen months into his production journey, the Ukrainian talent also calls Akbal Music, Kindisch, Seven Villas and When We Dip XYZ home. Now embarking on his first EP project for Sound Avenue, Nopi presents his much anticipated four track showcase ‘Where To Go’ 

Already beloved for his melody crafting prowess, that sentiment will only grow with the title selection ‘Where To Go’. Anchored by a warm, progressive minded groove, its atmospheric scope comes up quickly, with glowing overlays and blissful vocal wails layering a bed of finely tuned percussion. The vocal narrative takes centrestage across the main break; emotive and hopeful in equal measure, it resonates beautifully against a wave of meditative arps, flowing through tasteful modulation as the groove drops for a finale of nostalgic chord changes.

Expanding his portfolio further, Nopi works with Argentinean vocalist Sarah Chilanti on the EP’s second selection ‘Flatter’. Its well carved groove is fluid yet funky; perfectly contoured and characterized by undulating sonics. It provides the perfect foundation for waves of exotic percussion and buoyant rhythmic themes, as Sarah’s enchanting wails and cascading piano’s trail across a heartfelt centrepiece, before a gentle rush cues an impassioned final movement.

The EP’s midway point finds Nopi exploring a deeper narrative with ‘Hookan Idyll’. From stripped down beginnings comes hopeful atmospheres and redolent shades, slowly descending over dulcet beats, organic drums and dusty artefacts. As the narrative evolves so too does its emotive appeal, with hazy harmonics and vocal fragments trailing over the framework, before a misty break effortlessly segues into a charming final act.

Rounding out the release are the deeper, ethereal vibes of ‘Sense In Nature’. Known for sitting comfortably between progressive and organic house, Nopi’s borderless vision fuels this meditative gem. It’s warm beats, perfectly sculpted bass and effervescent percussion unite for a fluid rhythmic core. Buzzing effects and cross-cultural overlays then advance the narrative with an effortless ease, splitting moods between the surreal and soulful. Building to a robust rumble, the centrepiece captivates and excites with its dynamic pulses, before gently accelerating to a tasteful crescendo. It rounds out a spirited collection of music from Nopi, making his first original project for Sound Avenue a most memorable one.
