This is a cover of Big Wreck's awesome song Albatross. Our League of Rock - Session 26 band (Loose City) went through several metamorphoses throughout our 10 week journey together - with only 4 rehearsals as a full band.

At one point during rehearsals, when our very awesome bassist Nachum was - sadly - out of town, Dave McMillan of Big Wreck, stepped in for 30 minutes and jammed with us. It was quite the privilege.

This is my League of Rock- Session 25 band, LUCiDiTY's version of John Prine's incredibly powerful song, Angel From Montgomery.

I enjoyed the journey to recording and performing this song. I must admit that given our 4 hour recording and mixing window, and the fact that it is a very uptempo version of the song we rehearsed and performed live (we were all so excited to be in the studio, things moved fasssst), It ain't too bad. :)

This song has been performed by some of my most favourite female vocalists, each with her own interpretation ... this is our (sped up) interpretation. :)

Welcome to my (not so) dirty little secret. I am a mother of two amazing teenage sons. By profession, I am a Creative Director and Graphic Designer. I stopped singing close to two decades ago. This is how I'm working off the rust, and exercising my pipes again. Singing ... being part of a band again, makes me feel I am doing (as a hobby) what I should again :) .

I suppose this is official documentation of my new/latest musical journey. I hope I can spread some joy on my ride here.
