Bronze EP

Fired in the kiln of lockdown, our new electronic music collection is a dub-hearted reimagining of our 2020 EP Bronze. 
Over nine tracks, we've remixed and re-imagnined the material, drawing on a variety of influences and styles from acid to dark ambient. 

While Make Me in Stone is coloured by a love of Deepchord and old Rhythm & Sound records, the slow, hypnotic pulse of Too Much to Carry was inspired more by the synth-wave sound of acts like Pye Corner Audio. 

In Sugar Dream, we present our first ever ambient piece, a nod to our fondness for artists like Brian Eno and Celer. 

Elsewhere, They’ve Spoken gets a drum n bass makeover, setting off Bronze track Shadow’s grand percussive machinery to spectacular effect. 

Making Bronze Recast was “an opportunity to develop the less structured side of our music and break things down a bit, which is an idea we’ve been using since our first remix for Sweet Oblivion."

“Some of our favourite records have been remix albums, like ’26 Mixes for Cash’ [Aphex Twin] and ‘Things Falling Apart’ [NIN] and we’ve always been into reconsidering our own stuff.”

Bronze Recast [Versions]

We proudly present our debut album, Eyes Closed Listening. 

This album traces a line between some of our earliest writing (the hazy ballad 'Essential') to some of our most ambitious arrangements to date (the cello-led scattered electro of 'Dirty System' or the angelic industrial-techno drive of 'Rewilding'), and even carries echoes of our first single: 'Sweet Oblivion Interlude.' It's been a few years in the making as we decided to (really) take our time with the mix, developing the tracks as far as we could before releasing. 

Eyes Closed references our wide-ranging influences and explores the various electronic sub-genres we love, producing an album of evolving music you can use to shut out the world for an hour.
