Generation Smash deliver once again with their latest output on the label, welcoming G-POL, Milan Tavares and Lambi for energetic new single ‘Backroom’. G-POL and Lambi are regular collaborators, having teamed up on previous singles such as ‘Light It Up’, while Lambi has previously worked with Milan Tavares on ‘Crank It’ and ‘Dancin’. The three unite for the first time in style on ‘Backroom’, a single that is guaranteed to have fans of Smash The House warming to this dynamic trio very quickly.

A chugging beat and robotic vocal kick off proceedings in ‘Backroom’, creating the anticipation for the track to hit it’s groove and take centre stage. When it does, it is full of attitude, with house hats and a ripping bass joining forces for a high-octane assault on the senses that will be sure to get the party started wherever it is dropped in the coming weeks. A clever arpeggio and new synth elements are added in the main breakdown, adding a level of musicality that is the icing on the cake for ‘Backroom’, before the inevitable chaos of the drop hits as hard as ever. 

The three artists have managed to accumulate an impressive number of high-profile names championing their music, including label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix and Don Diablo, and on this showing, there is no doubt as to why.
