This is a series of ideas, thoughts, feelings and emotions while reflecting on what I've lost and what I've gained recently.

The fact that it is somewhat an embodiment of those things is precisely why I've struggled with working on this and releasing it.

Jack McDevitt Live @ Nightmare Before Christmas 2021

This mix is based on a set I did for the Submerge party that happened on the Canada Day long weekend in 2019. I had recorded it shortly after the event but I was not happy with the ending so I was hoping to record it again. I deleted the original recording and didn't manage to record it again. Recently I found a mp3 copy while sorting files. After giving it a good listen I realized I could release it by cutting out the last part. So here it is at last!

Lucidity 2022 was a DREAM! I’m feeling revived after seeing many of the connections and friendships I’ve built over the years together in one place. It meant the world to see so many familiar faces supporting me in ways I couldn’t have imagined!

3 years ago I met many incredible humans at Lucidity 2019, and to all come back together in same space 3 years later (after a fkn whirlwind of life) was a crazy full circle experience.

One that stands out - meeting Teran @tchilt at Lucidity 2019 after witnessing the first ever @boizhouse live set, and now in 2022 I played out a breaks/tech track that we produced together!! Listen here in this mix at 34:30 <3

Firecat 451 is a multi-genre DJ, MC & Producer doing live MCing during his own set, as well as booking to MC for other EDM artists.

In DJ mode, Firecat 451 brings Drum & Bass rollersvand those who represent can’t help but to come front and center and show respect for the diligence and wicked track selection.

Also in the line-up are impressive blends of jazzy and jackin’ house and electro music with tasteful notes of international flavor. Dance floors will rattle and clubbers will be richly rewarded with perfectly chosen grooves.

Firecat 451 also plays some sick Dubstep & Bass Music with precision and power. 

Add a microphone, wireless or otherwise and the party is off the chain. The vocals here are dynamic. Intricate swings between American street poetry and singing chorus’ reminiscent of Seal and Bob Marley. The plan is complete when Firecat 451 introduces original tracks into his mixes some of which are written especially for the event.
