From the music to the artwork, this is a truly stunning release.

Robbert Heijnen kindly opened his archive to us allowing for a long overdue vinyl pressing of the tracks Integration and Adelaar. Both tracks which were produced with Debbie Jones stay true to the distinctive tribal acid house sound that eXquisite CORpsE is renowned for.

Alongside this we included the downtempo gem Possibility IV from his Enkidada alias and a deadly rework from Anatolian Weapons.

It was a full moon tonight; it felt bigger than ever before, its expanse taking over the entire sky. Under its glare, strange things took place; unexplainable happenings that people couldn't fathom. There was a change in moods and temperaments, in personalities and actions - a nocturnal switch that sent everyone on a different course, a course that lasted only as long as the moon hung in the sky.

It's been a couple of years since Leeds-based label Space Ritual released a record into the world. Now they're embarking on their fifth outing, a combined effort between Italian vocalist and producer Eva Geist and Russian singer and composer Chikiss. The three tracks on Sono I'imperatore were originally recorded back in 2018 after the pair met in Berlin and found mutual ground in their creative interests. The contrasting qualities in their solo musical outputs have been fused on this release which travels through strung out rhythms, eerie synths and soft, whispered vocals that drift in and out of focus.

⛓Exquisite DJ and producer Misha Geleyn originally born in Moscow and currently based in Istanbul.
He has been called an ambassador of happiness for his always upbeat positive music with non-trivial hits. In the past co-creator of the famous Russian internet radio Follow Me. He was also a promoter for several years - 1/2 art team of Moscow Strelka Bar and music director of the Dom Kultur.
With releases on labels such as Macadam Mambo and mixes for radios and platforms like Bordello a Parigi, Dream Chimney, LYL Radio, Mutant Radio, CTW Podcasts, Isterika, Misha’s style goes far and beyond the eclectic Hi-NRG rhythms and travels fast without genre limitations.

It’s safe to say that Steven Legget has been somewhat measured in his approach to releasing music. The Newcastle native was behind the Four Hands moniker, with releases alongside iconic industrial figures Zoviet France on Signals From The North and the classic ‘Hizou’ on Claremont 56 back at the turn of the decade.
 
Now, this Firecracker Recordings release highlights a fully realised body of work, only hinted at by the aforementioned projects. Starting life as a performance in Turkish Baths located in Newcastle upon Tyne’s City Pool, one of the last remaining civil saunas in the country, Legget has created a textured, melodic and immersive eulogy to the woozy, slow motion, drug free endorphin rush of the bath house. Pieces from this performance, alongside field recordings collected on the islands of Paxos and Loutro, South Crete are reimagined as a luscious ambient music. Accompanied by cello and electronics with real attention paid to musicality, vast and gaseous cinematic compositions are submerged beneath waves and drenched in steam and condensation.
