Beyond the chiptune melodies and wobbly basses, there lies a deeper meaning behind the piece. The song itself is self-referential, addressing the viewer directly concerning its own identity. Like all of us, it looks for its purpose. "What am I set out to do?" it asks. In the end, it begs the question: is this song simply a backing track for a beat saber level? Or is more than that -- does it hold any value beyond its utilitarian function?

This song is a remake of an older song I made in 2020! It's one of the first songs I ever recorded myself singing, so I wanted to do record a more alternative and upbeat version. As I had written the song in the beginning of the pandemic, the lyrics talk about the sudden transition from one lifestyle to another, and the longing for how things were. As such, I hold this song very close to my heart :)

This is the 2nd track in my Moving On EP. It's also the first track I used side chaining. I made this in approx. 2-3 hours. I'm quite pleased with how this turned out! :D Thanks to Olaars and robbanrobin for inspiration. :)
