Luminous Shift

I think I've invented the Psych-Sea-Shanty. 
This is a song about my big fluffy murdery Cat Kahlo (also known as Bitey) who really does leave headless bodies everywhere.

After spending a great deal of time in a proper studio the other week with my actual band Dagobah (Valvetastic in Exeter, with the inimitable Jo Holroyd) I learned some stuff about mixing. I did my first ever comp-vocal on this track, and built a huge wall of multi-tracked guitars. I also accepted that I am deaf and shit at mastering, and used AAMS for the first time instead. I have lost my prejudices against such a gimmicky thing as it sounds pretty good really.
