We are thrilled to break the silence and present to you our much-anticipated creation, "VA Romanian Art Vol. 4." During our prolonged hiatus from music, we embarked on an introspective journey, a profound pause that allowed us to step back and contemplate the cacophony of the modern world. It seemed as if the planet spun faster, and in the frenzy of everyday life, we lost sight of the real essence, the soul of music. The taste was replaced with an abundance of sugar-coated sounds, lacking the depth and authenticity that once fueled our passion.

"VA Romanian Art" has become more than just a series of compilations; it has evolved into a tradition—our humble tribute to the thriving ro-minimal music scene. We are proud to say that each edition of "VA Romanian Art" is not only a showcase of talent but also an initiative to promote the growth and diversity of our vibrant community.

Instead, I've delved into the atmospheric realm, driven by a passion for pushing artistic boundaries. This album also consists of moments recorded in nature. It's fascinating how seemingly ordinary sounds can undergo transformation when woven into the fabric of music.

Often overlooked, these subtle nuances form the essence of our existence, reminding us to cherish the beauty in the simplicity of life. In a world consumed by routine, finding inspiration can be elusive. Yet, amidst the everyday hustle, it's important to realize the fleeting nature of life and the importance of uncovering inspiration in everyday feelings.

It's time to present a new EP and showcase an artist we've been collaborating with for some time now. Each release from him has consistently delivered pure, underground tracks that capture the essence of the sound we cherish. We're thrilled to introduce Tobias Laun from Germany, a true ambassador of our signature groovy rollers with a unique attitude. To make him feel truly at home on our label, Primarie steps in to deliver another timeless production, invoking the infinite allure of source energy in the track "Quelle," which fittingly means "source" in German.

Ada Kaleh is one of the most respected Romanian artists, with a reputation for creating timeless cuts that never leave a DJs record bag. Ada’s creative spark leaves much to the imagination of the listener. Each track comes with a story, with the tracks following on in a fluid movement.

A-side ‘Nedeslusit in amurg’ is characterised by its atmospheric vibe and distant vocals. The track is inspired by the whirling dance of the Sufi dervishes. The dervishes walk the desert for hours, maybe days. As the sun sets, in its twilight (“Amurg in Romanian”), a women holding a blue pot of water unfolds… 

B-side ‘Morgana avidoma’ is as memorable as the story behind it. A creative combination of fluid, driving basslines combines with snappy claps and extra-terrestrial synths. ‘Morgana‘ represents the women, always in the distance, always ‘nedeslusit’, yet always there, in front of your eyes, “avidoma”. She is indeed there, but only for us to see. 

What this EP represents is a snippet into the brain of Ada Kaleh. The hypnotic feel of the tracks mirror his memorising DJ and live sets. His music is as much a visual experience as an audio experience. It’s designed to make you dance but also to leave an impression…
