The Firmament created a new original score to the anime classic Akira. This was performed live by The Firmament at The Roxie in San Francisco for SF Indiefest 2018.

The Firmament is a San Francisco based electronic music duo composed of Renzo Gorrio (aka Hydroplane) and Marky Ray. Both veterans of the electronic dance music scene, they have contributed very similar parties for very different genres. Renzo organizing IDP/Intelligent Dance Party and scoring for NPRs Snap Judgement. Marky helping plan and DJ Brass Tax parties and the virtual reality DJ dance party Echo Space.
