2013.7.27(土）山形県・肘折温泉で開催される電子音楽イベント『肘響』。
肘折温泉と東北芸工大による灯籠アートプロジェクト『ひじおりの灯』のオープニングを飾って開催されます。

今回肘響でのライブ用に書き下ろし新曲を制作しました！

灯籠の回る温泉街の夜景、美しく自然豊かな温泉郷全体の風景、出羽三山の気配、さらに涼音堂ビジュアルチームから取材した当日の構想、、そういういろんなものからインスパイアされて制作しました。

“All I Know” Description：
This new song is a chillin'- electronic downtempo track with somewhat ennui riffs where the spacial synths and voices are intertwined.
I intended to bring about moderate tension in a spatial music by combining laid-back beats and bouncy baselines.

“DIffusion” Description：
Firo’s first work in 2022 is “Cosmic Electronic Funk”; starting with a swaying pitch Lo-Fi synth reed where Hi-Fi arpeggio is contrastively intertwined. After a break, the floating spacey sound is marked with attack feeling beats, synth and funky bass. While giving them a sense of dynamism, integrating into the mature chill is the true value. Following the interlude with dynamics of arpeggio, it stabilizes and brings the curtain down with a beautiful echo with the desire to continue it as it is.

“Turn Round” Description：
A new single from Firo, who has constantly released good-quality electronic works on EP/single for the past 4 years. Following the intro of exhilarating syncopated chords and comfortably ear-fitting rhythm, dynamic arpeggio bass and synths group pass between floating and manner colorfully showcase the simple 2-chord song. Anticipating the emergence of AI music in 2023, but a positive Neo-future feeling where Firo's humanity bleeds everywhere. It's time to break out of stagnation and TURN ROUND.

『And then』Description：
The inspiration for this piece came from the “transition of the atmosphere in places” which is produced by people as they come and go in public spaces.
For example, on the street corner, at the airport, at the station: a lot of people pass by, pause, talk, and head to the next place – sometimes creating noise, and sometimes silence.
The atmosphere being created there never remains the same, and keeps always changing – as if trying to find “and, then” at all times. 
I created this piece with an elegant and slightly sensitive mood, expressing the transience and preciousness of such an atmosphere that is born and dissipated from one to another.

“Gazing” Description：
This song was expanded with a simple eighth note riff as a motif. A bit sentimental motif gradually moves, and an ephemeral drama appears and disappears one after another - I created this with such image. 
The afterimage and afterglow of the scenery left behind in where someone once happened to be in a certain space; that sort of ephemerality may also be one of the themes of this piece.

“Firo” is a solo project by Hiroyuki Tsukakoshi, a Japanese electronic music producer.
He released his 1st album “paddle” from Ryoondo-tea, the electronic music label, in 2003.Since then, he has released five CD albums leading up to “Brilliant daze.”
Firo participates in many compilations, remixes, live shows and sessions.
Based on spatial electronic music, his works maintain an original ambience developing a wide range of sound worlds.
Limited distribution of his releases begin from January, 2019. 
Firo also composes and produces BGM for TV.
