It has been my pleasure to make the mix for UCSD Raas Ruckus 2015-2016!!!!

It has been humbling to watch this team make unprecedented strides in the Raas circuit this year:

and of course RAS 2k16!

I would personally like to thank UCSD Raas Ruckus for giving me this opporunity. It has been gratifying to push my personal creative boundary and bring creativity and innovation to the Raas circuit. I hope that this will encourage others to share their own creative insights to the circuit as well.

As captain this year, I definitely felt the ease in making my and Tanya's set ideas come in to some physical form. Since I knew how to use a specific tool and how to work with music, I could work through several renditions of songs, segments, and vibes.
As always, I urge other teams to develop their own in-house system of mixing. It is always easier to make a mix if you know the set, vision, and vibe of a performance you're preparing for. A mix is more than what you dance to for 8 minutes -  it can make or break a performance. It has the ability to set any kind of aura you want within your audience, and take them along with you for a ride.
I'm glad I got to work with our team once again and give our dancers and our audiences something we're excited to dance to. As always, I'm open to all feedback, both good and bad, as I hope to continue improving!
