What a year..... WHAT A YEAR! Can we just say if it wasn't for the gift of music 2021 would have been grim. How lucky we all are to be able to come together to celebrate music in our own way.

If you are reading this, you're likely to be following BOC to meet with like-minded people. People you would share a dance floor with and connect on a level that doesn't need words. Artists you can actually share a drink with at shows because we too are on the dance floor feeding off of the same feeling.

This is the reason we do this, this is why we as a label put so much energy not only into releasing music but bringing new artists into our fold, forever expanding on what it means to build a community. I think it would be impossible to relay how many demos we get per year, but we listen to every single one of them.

By now you should know that this is what Litterbox is all about - fresh faces and big basses. This round we have a proper heavyweight crew from all over the world, pushing the BOC sound to its limits in every direction.

To celebrate the release of his track "Loca Lola" with Look Like on Dirtybird, Sacha's put together a 65 minute mix featuring everyone from Claude VonStroke to Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter to Moderat. Currently hailed as "a geezer James Blake", London's Lukas Freeman could very well be onto something. A former Grime MC, the trip-hop crooner's super-moody debut Rough Love EP saw everyone from BBC Radio 1 to our sister site, Noisey.com, giving him the one-to-watch nod. September 15 will see him follow-up said release with a new four-tracker, entitled Creep. i-D is not one bit angry to be premiering 'Old Violence', featuring Owls.
