We're welcoming back a Strangelove favourite this month, none other than US based DJ & producer, Worthy who returns to the label for the first time since 2019 with brand new single, 'Occupy My Mind'. With an in-depth knowledge of production, mixing and performance, Worthy has the insight to play for any audience, cultivating intense positive energy on the dancefloor. From salty aired islands to dark club basements, over the past 15 years, Worthy has paid reverence to the traditional form of classic House while tripping off the mark and sinking into the euphoric less-charted territories of booty-clapping Bass. With an impressive ever-growing back catalogue of music signed to labels including dirtybird, DFTD, This Ain't Bristol, Toolroom, Club Sweat, Love & Other and many more, Worthy has proven that her relentless work ethic has more than cemented her presence in the underground Tech House scene. What a year..... WHAT A YEAR! Can we just say if it wasn't for the gift of music 2021 would have been grim. How lucky we all are to be able to come together to celebrate music in our own way.

If you are reading this, you're likely to be following BOC to meet with like-minded people. People you would share a dance floor with and connect on a level that doesn't need words. Artists you can actually share a drink with at shows because we too are on the dance floor feeding off of the same feeling.

This is the reason we do this, this is why we as a label put so much energy not only into releasing music but bringing new artists into our fold, forever expanding on what it means to build a community. I think it would be impossible to relay how many demos we get per year, but we listen to every single one of them.

By now you should know that this is what Litterbox is all about - fresh faces and big basses. This round we have a proper heavyweight crew from all over the world, pushing the BOC sound to its limits in every direction.

For the uninitiated, Holger is a fascinating little label based in Leipzig headed up by  Jan & Steffen Bennemann. With close links to Cologne based label Magazine, it was only a matter of time before the remixing talents of Barnt and Jens-Uwe Beyer would get enlisted. They've specially selected 'Moonland' from Dream Weapons' release way back in 2014 for a thorough rethinking, and the results are as creepy and fun as you might expect from the Magazine collective.

Liu Bey's 'Atlas World' has been given two edits. One brings the summer vibe suited for the White Isle and the other is a dark and brooding monster, of which we have the premiere.

Solomun's 'Night' version of the track features rumbling low-end bass, thick chords and haunting vocals that give the track a sense of progression. Feeling this one and we're sure you will to.

Ohlala, CROATIA SQUAD & FORT ARKANSAS really seem to be upset about the ongoing party scene. Or should we better say "NOT ongoing party scene". They express their feelings loudly through music (the best way in our opinion). The artists created a provokativ club track about the CORONA-VIRUS and what it does to the current house music landscape. The track is on purpose produced to sound like a club compatible tech house track. A track that normally would be blasted out of the speaker systems of the clubs and festivals. But instead everyone is invited to drop this tune on their private stereos and crank up the volume knobs to spread the message all across the globe. Fucking Corona!
