Following recent releases from Nicole Moudaber, Stephan Hinz and Elio Riso the new release is from Tomy DeClerque.

Tomy DeClerque is a Slovenian DJ at the forefront of the country's electronic music scene, who is known globally for his hulking Techno productions and charismatic DJ style.

His music has features on labels including Toolroom, Phobiq, 1605, Blu Fin and Mauro Picotto’s label Alchemy, plus he has also collaborated with the likes of UMEK.

One of the Intec mainstays, this will be the twelfth time Tomy DeClerque has featured music on Carl Cox's much famed imprint.

“Makarona” centres around dark atmospherics brought to life by drum rolls and bursts of explosive percussion. The offbeat lead synth jerks and lurches the groove forward over the rolling bass foundation, making this track an enthralling white knuckle ride. Fast and furious, this peak time Techno track takes no prisoners and packs a real punch.

“The New” starts with mechanical rhythms that rotate like the engine of a heavy duty machine. Rising pads build tension whilst pitched drums answer in call and response patterns. Overcast and menacing, the intensity builds as the track progresses and grows with ferocity. Trapped in its captivating glare, this Techno monster is perhaps best described as being “The belly of the beast!”

Gregor Tresher wraps up another remarkable year in the techno fast lane with a brand new label: GTO. It stands for Gregor Tresher Originals and the emphasis is on the word original as he continues to carve his own unique furrow in a brand new way. Investing everything hes achieved and explored across some of the greatest labels in techno from Drumcode to Cocoon, Music Man to Ovum, Moon Harbour to Bedrock, plus 60 releases on his own Break New Soil imprint, its time to freshen things up once again. Its time to get acquainted with GTO And it starts with another superb collaboration with long time friend and collaborator Petar Dundov. 

Stellarius and Anthropogenic show Gregor and Petar at their most energetic, forward-thinking and enthused. The former is a pacey drive into the unknown with layered synths weaving in and out of perspective to hypnotic effect while the latter shows a darker side to the duo as harmonic bass textures rumble with a rich loin-girding sinister feel and a carnal funk that springs off the off-beat hi-hats. Gregor explains the inspiration behind both compositions "Stellarius to me, is the biggest and most powerful track to emerge from our recent studio sessions. From the day we made it, I knew I wanted to save it for something very special. Well, I guess the occasion is here." 

"Anthropogenic causes mayhem everywhere I play it. I would say its inspired by the music of so many young and fresh producers making their way to the big stages now with a sound that hints a time when producing techno wasnt about functionality but more about a certain vibe of creating something new and exciting."
