Greek producer Dan Barrow makes his Manitox debut with a groundbreaking 2-track EP. Dan Barrow touches down at Manitox with ‘Poseziv EP’. First of all, Poseziv starts with a more melodic techno-style drum pattern. A crunchy straight hat plays off the squared FM bass notes, while the screaming vocal hits every beat creating a hypnotic dance beat.

The protagonist of the rupture offers an Arabic feeling and also something electronic from the 80s, becoming this type of sounds highly appreciated by the head of the label, German Brigante. Then 'Kidinda' offers a slightly more musical composition than the previous single. An emotional vocal hook builds up creating an atmosphere that gives it a nice drop hit.

Italian duo Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone debut on Hot Creations with ‘Playhouse’, backed by a remix from  Cologne favourite Kolter.  

Featuring as two young talents rising from the Italian house scene, Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone are gearing up  for their biggest release to date following a series of EPs across recent years. Joining forces for the first time to  rework Ann Peebles’ 1972 soul hit ‘I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down’, they debut on Hot Creations with their  collaboration ‘Playhouse’ - backed by a stellar remix from Cologne-based DJ/producer and label boss, Kolter. 

“The EP was born by chance, an experiment which turned out successful. It’s a mixture of sounds and  recordings accompanied by a taste of vintage soul music.” - Len Vitz.  

Harnessing the original production’s resonant vocals and funk-fuelled riffs, ‘Playhouse’ brings a 70’s classic to  modern dancefloors as slick drums and slinking bass grooves reveal a track made for memorable moments. On  the flip, Kolter’s remix brings an additional slice of vigour and energy as he utilises signature chords and skippy  percussion to shape up proceedings.

Four unique tracks, for different moments in time: Yet More delivers ‘Brenda Bradley’, testifying his penchant for weaving distinctive samples into irresistible harmonies and groove.

Up first is the titular ‘Brenda Bradley’, which glides as smoothly as the name falls off the tongue. Joined by chunks of chaotic kicks which punch mightily, a solar-tinged melody gleans beneath the vocal sample to find ourselves stationed in a prime-time battle position.
