The story of Gafgarn's journey to lift a curse takes him into a universe of unforetold secrets and adventures.
Gafgarn discovers magical armored boots on one of his raids, late in his effort to unite his tribes. He’s warned by a denizen that they are cursed, but he declines to care. He dawns the boots after winning his throne and uniting the Eastern tribes, only to find that he can’t sit in said throne. Seen as an ill omen, he is cast out until he can prove once more that he is a deserving emperor. This sends Gafgarn off on a wild adventure full of action, mystery, and threats beyond the realm of known reality. In the end, not just Gafgarn’s seat of power, but the fate of the entire world will be decided.
