Episode 22: Bongo Spring Affair

Bongo Spring Affair was by far my favorite live sets I've played in a while. It has the energy, the love, and spirit of FISH HOUSE FUNK. This set was created by the love of the drums in many disco tracks. I wanted to find a way to bring the melodic energy that you get from house & techno to disco, in a way that still celebrated disco. In this mix you’ll hear sounds of salsa, disco, soul and lots of bongo drums.   

This mix takes you on journey through it all - the highs, the lows and everything in between. At one point you’ll end up in a disco era, another a salsa era, and even some gospel & soul :) 

  In this mix you’ll find tracks by DJ Spin, Louie Vega, DJ CHUS, Kerri Chandler, Teddy Douglas, Air Power, Hercules & Love Affair, Spice Girls, Todd Terry, David Morales, the Basement Boys, and many more :)
