No Time For Goodbyes is the lead single from Fisky's debut album Ten years' (available via free download below) and was recently aired on Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing Mixtape Show on BBC Radio 6. The song was inspired by losing someone close without having the chance to say goodbye. As with all of Fisky's music the story telling is engaging and the honesty brutal. The raw emotion and lyrical incisiveness are perfectly complimented by Christen Kwames calming yet powerful vocals, setting the tone for this emotive track.

Camncer and dalign with the loss of loved ones is an issue close to Fisky's heart having lost his Mother to cancer when he was sixteen and nine other family members and friends, not all to cancer but the feeling of loss is one Fisky knows only too well. 

2O Years was released on Valentines Day 2018 marking the 20 Year anniversary of his mother passing away and deals with all the issues that arose from losing her including addiction, anger, guilt, depression anxiety and the the struggle of staying positive after losing so many people.

Fisky is a London based Poet, Rapper, the Founder of Mind Over Matter and member of London’s FLOpoet collective mentored by Natalie ‘The Floacist’ Stewart, founding member of multiple Grammy nominated Neo-Soul Duo, Floetry.

He has written in one form or another since childhood exploring different styles, formats and genres but ultimately he has always been drawn to the word. His first poem was published at 12 years old with many more since. 

Writing has always been Fisky’s therapist. He draws on his twenty five years lived experience with addiction and depression to raise awareness and process his own struggles, capturing stories from his life and experiences with a raw honesty in his own story-telling style.

Fisky’s upcoming album ‘Cheaper Than Therapy’ will be available to stream and download on Monday 13th June 2022 and picks up where his debut album ‘Ten Years’ left off as he explores the subjects and effects of unresolved grief, denial, addiction, suicidal thoughts, sobriety, belief, faith, the therapeutic benefits of writing and his on-going struggle with recovery. The first single ‘Sometimes ft. Greg Blackman’ is available to stream and download now.
