Many people still believe strongly in religion however I'm quite the opposite. I think they largely insult the truth and still convince most people to follow them through fear and limiting people's outlook on the universe. The day we accept that and move on from them will be a good day for us all. At the very least I feel we need to evolve them to spiritual based docrines that are based on actual truth and to do that they need to align with actual science and modern discovery otherwise they will just be the divisive conflict causing truth limiters they have been for thousands of years keeping people living in the past!

Maga and the US christian right are currently showing everyone how detached from reality they are and they put their faith in a person as far away from supposed christian beliefs and moral standards as you could possibly get in Trump, yet they still want to cling to that old psychology so much they choose to support him because he tells them he's on their side. Its the same pattern throughout modern history christians will move the goal posts to try and survive in the real world instead of accepting a reality that's actually real and moving on with everyone else. All religions have the same protectionist mindset and it's poison for this beautiful planet plain and simple
