There are issues with employees & employers ......Employees side, some act as nerds, they want onsite, they want promotion, they want leaves , Work from Home .....few really do it that is irritating to managers

this guy is crazy! he is surely a under performer. jumping the ship!??! WTF. this guy should be hired multiple times just to be fired again. One of the dumbest fellow i have heard of! He should have been given E Band. This as***le went to onsite and milked TCS there. and he is expecting to stay there watching youtube, facebook and discussing cricket.

Grow up. Don't be a baby. Read your terms of engagement

TCS has a "curve fitting" based performance rating model, where 10% in a project get 'A' Band, 30% get B, 40% get C, 10% get D. So, TCS makes sure a mjority gets C in the first place. Getting A or B is always biased. Employees who has closer ties with his/her manager always gets away with A or B. So, getting A or B is purely non-performance based. If TCS wants to cut down under performers, it should at-least be sensible enough to know ground realities before taking the kind of decisions it has taken now. TCS has to create a team whose role should be to evaluate employees transparently. Not only the project managers, but also the client's inputs, and employee's inputs should be considered. If a company lets a Project lead decide everything and ignore the voices of a non-manager, the corrupt/biased managers get away and so does under-performers who are cloes to their managers.

If TCS goes on with firing based on bands, in future TCS would not only lose reputation but also all the good employees
