The 25th episode of the Avenue Red Podcast series comes from Hydergine (AKA Roberto Corizzo), a Dub Techno producer and esteemed vinyl collector/DJ from Taranto, Italy. His productions are very deep and textural, most notable for having a somewhat futuristic and scientific aesthetic, which is one of the foundational concepts of his work under the Hydergine moniker - as Roberto explains: "The pseudonym is inspired by a smart drug used to improve the metabolism of brain cells and cognitive abilities such as intelligence, learning and memory".

His music has been released on a variety of well-respected labels including Separate Skills, Analog Response, Phlox, Ranges and Tiefenrausch. He is now on the cusp of his 7th vinyl release - pre-order available here: http://www.decks.de/t/hydergine-static_frames/c3w-g7 - which is forthcoming on the Dresden, Germany-based label Etui Records. Biography: 
Raúl García aka Retouched was born in Madrid in February 1981, he began his career as a DJ around 1999 and as a music producer around 2007/2008. In 2012 he began his time with Kopoc, a label he runs himself. He has collaborated with other labels such as ODrex Music, hello▼strange, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], insectorama, Organica... His musical style is Dub Techno although he has another aka where he delves deeper into House music with touches of Funk, Disco and Detroit sound [Cliff Tower]. This time Raul recorded a special mix for the anniversary of the DUBBISM brand podcast.

Greg has been playing and creating music since the 90’s, for over the last 5 years, he has been Djing, producing and releasing his own material as the Lonerist. 
Specialising in dub techno, ambient textures, and minimalist rhythms and deep electronic soundscapes, he has been mostly self-releasing on Bandcamp, but in the last few years, he has been releasing on labels like Insectorama, Slope Point, Verdant Recordings and Crossfade Sounds.
