I like how the reverse piano feels like you're inhaling air abruptly, then the breathing relaxes and you keep drawing up your thoughts.

• About this track: Hello! I made this little ambient track as a way for me to symbolize turning a page on some things in my life. To me, it evocates an overall feeling of acceptance and moving on, while still feeling a bit bittersweet on past things I may feel nostalgic about, and people who may seem like they’ve moved ahead of you long before you did. I made it in just a little hour during a little self-introspection moment I had going and thought I was in the zone to improv some random reverby piano & pads chords, which is something I frequently do from time to time just to blow some steam. I just recorded myself playing randomly to my heart’s content for four minutes, and then simply did some light midi adjustments so the thing doesn’t sound too completely off-pitch. I’ve also added a reversed piano stem in here which is just the main piano improv you can already hear but reversed and with a different piano VST, and added some lo-fi kind of vinyl white noise to fill the soundscape in. The song itself isn’t really impressive or anything, but I think this sounded okay, so I gave it a go and decided to publish it. It’s a very simplistic track but I think it kinda works.
