RADIO TRANSMISSIONS FROM FSOLFANBASE 
Terminal Radio is a transmission broadcast offshoot of Terminal Window, a music project from FSOLBoard, a community of Future Sound of London fans on the internet.
Artists on the board were invited to contribute tracks and collaborations to the album, given nothing but the title Terminal Window. Members who made tracks for the Terminal Window series and general fans of FSOL and ambient music were invited to contribute a 15 minute mix. Eight of these were collected and mixed together into a 2 hour trip. Each volume will feature eight more alternate universes converging into one super quadaural meta-brain.

This is a mini-soundtrack by Five Minutes Alone mixed exclusively for Terminal Radio, it is the 5th minute, featuring unreleased works from the recent past, present and the future. Garden Of Static Decay explores the realms of experimental electronica, from soothing ambient environments to gloomy orchestrals and mellow modern classical surroundings, from natural and synthetic noise to melancholic voices, from field recordings to abstract instrumentals, passing through dark territory and entering into valleys of sonic emotion. It travels through the birth, the blossoming and the decay, through the shadow and through the light . . . dedicated in the memory of my beloved grandma Sarah.

Terminal Radio presents a very special 3-hour transmission, this month brought to you by your psychedelic supplier, Nmesh - full of exclusive new material and mixes from some of the highest-regarded musicians in the field of ambient-electronica.  We're very proud to have among us this month, one of the main forces that inspired the construction of the Terminal Mainframe, and are very pleased to announce that in this transmission, he will be premiering 6 new and unreleased FSOL and Zeebox tracks - former Humanoid, and Mr. Yage himself - FSOLdigital presents... "Electric Brainstorm 10: Micro Edition".  Next, he's a pioneer of Ninja Tune Records back in the early 90's - and served up the goods alongside his pals in Coldcut - he's DJed all over the world, and mixed hundreds of hours of audio for compilations - one of the head honchos at Solid Steel - it's a pleasure to bring you his Future Shock mix - making his debut on the show, DJ Food...  Also sending data to our main server this month, is the long-running champion of ambient music - and resident DJ at The Big Chill Bar - The Irresistible Force himself, Mixmaster Morris - with a selection from his Extreme Chill Sunday series.  Prepare to fast forward the future, with an extended 40-minute dubbed out mix from legendary record producer, former Orb-conspirator, and founding member of Killing Joke, Martin Glover, aka Youth. 

Also joining us on this edition, is an otherworldly live mix of new material from acclaimed UK psychedelic / ambient pioneers Ishq, who have been releasing electronic music since the mid-90’s under various names, including Indigo Egg, Elve and Ishvara - best known for releasing the ambient masterpiece "Orchid" on Interchill back in 2002 - and pumping out gems on their V i r t u a l output ever since. (ishq.org)  Then we have a producer whose discography spans numerous styles - from ambient / electronic releases on Hypnotic / Cleopatra Records, to tribal and experimental releases on Fateless Flows - Better known under the alias Surface 10 - Premiering new tracks off of the upcoming second installment of the Touched: Music for Macmillan Cancer Support compilations - welcome, Dean De Benedictis.  We also welcome return acclaimed British producer and multi-instrumentalist Riz Maslen, aka Neotropic, in her second mix for the program.  Nmesh will be playing some deep cuts as well, and we have mixes from Terminal regulars Akkya and LMS (Sy Haze) as well. On January the 20th, 2015, Edgar Froese passed away at the age of 70. He and his band of over 50 years "Tangerine Dream" were major pioneers in the field of electronic music. Composer of well over 100 albums, highly inventive and influential, it's very likely that music today wouldn't be as beautiful if it wasn't for their work.

So this month, we are slowing the gears down and paying tribute to Edgar Froese. Alongside this are new mixes by INTERNATIONAL DEBRIS aka ROSS BAKER, TONE CARVER and ENCYM to complete this month's transcendence.
