Five Angels is an urban, hip hop artist from the north side of Chicago. Raised in Carpentersville, Illinois, the fourth of four children, Five Angels often felt like he didn't belong. Growing up without a father, his mother was his closest mentor who often raised her kids with strong, solid Catholic beliefs. During his elementary school years the sense of not belonging grew stronger and stronger, and with no one to listen to he put those emotions onto paper, beginning his journey as a songwriter. By 18 years old, Five began recording his own self produced music. 

Throughout the course of his career his listeners have expanded from all around the world. 

"I just want to show people that perseverance and self-determination can really give an individual powers! My music is all about hope, passion and overcoming the obstacles of our day to day lives," said Five when asked about his sound. 

Current accomplishments include radio placement with Shade45, inquiries with multiple labels and most recently becoming closely affiliated with mentor and A&R, Mic Tee (Cash Money/AMAG Collective).

Five Angels has decided to stay independent in his path to the prize, and is currently working diligently in the studio to continue refining his sound and building up his library of songs to begin release in the very near future.
