This is a collaboration really based on casuality. 
My habit is, first to listening a piece, read the notes attached. 
That helps me to understand better the feelings of the artist.

Reading the notes of Michel, touched me. 
Here his notes:  "For me, the value of time changes according to your age: When you are a child the time is slow. When you get twenty you have all your life in front of you and you feel invincible when you get to your thirties you are too busy raising the family to think about time at forty you understand that you are half way to you active life (average age in north a America is 78 years old) In your fifties, your grand children confirm that you are in the down slop :-) When you get in my gang (the sixties) the future is now, your mind is young but you have bad short term memory that forget that you have a ... painful old body  I would like to give Rudi a warm welcome who will be part of my gang in these days :-) This is all about his wonderful song."
Listened this beautiful piece composed by Rudi and completed by Michel. At the end of the piece, jumped out of the chair, taken my bouzouki, restarted the piece and started to play on the introduction of the piece. 
Why bouzouki and not the "usual" piano? 
 I needed a popular instrument, a sound transversal to the time, like the story of Michel.

I saw this picture and I remembered my grandparents.
Stories and images described by the beginning of 900. 
They escaped in boats from Smyrna (Asia Minor), where until a few days before, Greeks and Turks live together peacefully.
Impossible to forget the 1,750,000 refugees, escaped from Ireland in the middle of the nineteenth century, for the great famine.

economic interests, colonialism, wars, deaths, refugees, hunger, racism.

Years go by and the story repeats itself.
Those who are well now, think to be immune to these events, but there is no country in history that has not had such dramatic events.

told an old sick to a young boy: where I am now, you will be and where are you now, I have just been.
think about it.
