Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The date received its official United Nations (UN) resolution, on December 17, 1999.

For 2014, the official Theme framed by the UN Secretary-General’s campaign UNiTE to End Violence against Women, is “Orange your Neighbourhood”.
My daughter has read that and asked me to play a Piano Solo version of “Color Your Life - Orange” and to post it in SoundCloud, to make known to more people possible that day.
Hopes that the message is transmitted in multiple pages.

06 Dirk Maassen - Reminiscence

...after 150 compositions I found its time to go out an meet my audience. First I am planning a solo piano tour over europe in 2016/2017. Next I am planning to go out with a real emsemble (4-7 musicians) and perform a series of piano/emsemble concerts to wherever it takes me. It needs a lot of preparation and it needs a lot of arrangements (synthesizer, sample, bass, cello, viola, violin, maybe some drums and percussive effects). This is where you come into place. Amongst all collaborations I will choose the best and add them to my live program. As an arranger you will get 50% of all digital sales profit (after cost for orchestra and studio) for the respective song which will be published on the live and studio albums I am planning. As said, the project is a huge undertaking for an individual like me and I am not sure I will manage to make it. So in first place you should take part in this collab to have fun and because you love music !
