Underdogs 5th installment warps to Tunisian underground scene and projects an artist that is commonly found in the after-hours library of appreciated Romanian or international artists: ROOT.

Experimenting a deep back-grounded unique frequencies, Cesar was first initiated to the electronic music in his birthplace Gafsa, in North Africa, through the repetitive percussion of the groovy native drummers in Tunisian streets and Sahara’s desert, added with the analogue gears and racks from Detroit to Berghain. His dynamic style glides effortlessly between the experimental and groovy four to the floor sound perspectives, continues to take him around the world leaving a touch of his magic in every booth he steps into.

ROOT’s productions were widely published on digital releases as on vinyl; recently heading Romanian’s label Aforisme latest release – Cezariad EP, Cesar has also planned for 2020 a double vinyl release on The Aviary Records. This episode’s artist in its musical professional career is also behind numerous releases in terms of mastering.

The podcast was entirely made of own productions and collaborations with artists like Paul K, Nunes & Sumrak during 2020’s July-September period and it creates the perfect environment for a legendary after-hours.
