Sonic Safari hits double digits in style with its 10th release, LaDeira EP, the first in a series of slow to mid-tempo deep ethno-organic house collaborations between label boss BiGz and his trusted studio partner rBert. Together, the duo carves out a sonic world where hypnotic grooves, ancestral melodies, and organic textures intertwine in perfect balance.

The title track, "LaDeira", is a deep and spellbinding journey infused with Andalusian soul. Built around an undulating duduk rhythm and a tight groove that radiates calmness and serenity, its charm lies in the delicate, middle eastern inspired Ney melodies that weave seamlessly through the mix. East meets West in a warm embrace here, as the pair deliver an intricate production that is both spiritual and therapeutic, inviting listeners to lose themselves in its meditative flow.

On the flip, "Sierra Morena" channels the rugged mystique of Spain's legendary mountain range. A rich tapestry of earthy percussion, sun-drenched guitars, and atmospheric pads sets the tone, while subtle ethnic motifs give the track an unmistakable organic edge. Where "La Deira" looks inward in reflection, "Sierra Morena" gazes outward to the horizon, its rolling groove and evocative sound design capturing the spirit of travel, nature, and timeless landscapes.

Throughout the decade, Francesca Lombardo's Echolette has remained a pillar of excellence in the electronic music sphere. In celebration of ten years of releases, the leading Italian has curated a special In Retrospect mix to commemorate the sounds of both labels: Echolette and Echoe.

Across In Retrospect, Francesca has fused the two distinctive personalities of Echolette and Echoe into a timeless voyage of genres, feelings and emotions. Warm electronica, resonant techno and acid-tinged psychedelic breaks demonstrate the quality and depth of each imprint, as well as showcasing Francesca's expert hand in curating the characteristic styles of both.

Launched in early 2010, this year marks the tenth anniversary of Francesca Lomabrdo's Echolette. Since inception, the label has nurtured the careers of Hector, Nima Gorji, Birds Of Mind and more besides, whilst also springboarding several other of Francesca's Italian contemporaries in the form of INTO YOU and II Faces. Six years later saw the creation of Echoe, a darker, more techno-oriented output that is often described by the label-head as the male counterpart to Echolette. Such contrasting styles have manifested in forging a symbiotic relationship between the two imprints, with the likes of Audiofly, Gel Abril, Cassy and many others releasing on Echoe in recent times.

yapú: Marc Oppliger began to get enthusiastic about electronic music in 2005. At the beginning of 2013 he started DJing and a few years later he discovered his love for vinyl. 

Then in 2019 he founded the label mi:suono together with some friends and organized various events in various clubs in the city of Bern (CH).

As yapú he is now more than 2 years on the road and enjoys every possibility to share his music with like-minded people, be it digital with his soundcloud or in analog form at events.

Jørg:

Sascha Hodler has been traveling as a musician for 25 years. As a multi-instrumentalist, producer, live act and Dj he has performed at hundreds of gigs and released numerous tracks in various styles.

With the wide variety of pseudonyms, the artist wanders in the most diverse directions from yoga music to jungle beats.

His current projects are Kaufmann live, ZNAGG and Jørg.
