Super excited to have @marimacdowell in for the 27th episode! DJ and record collector for over 15 years, Mari Mac Dowell was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and is now based in BedStuy-Brooklyn where for almost four years she has been expanding her collection of obscure Brazilian and African records, techno, house and other eccentric noises. Her sets are always energetic with a lot of synthesizers and percussive grooves. Mari became a regular in the booth of a few underground clubs in the city such as Mood Ring, @jupiterdisco and @publicrecordsnyc. Inveterate music researcher she is always looking for hidden gems to elevate you to other frequencies. She hosts a bi-weekly show at the Brooklynite FaceRadio with her Synth Waves every Thursday evening.
