STANDING ON THE LEDGE

haven't you grown tired of always looking back
mourning those good ol' days, stuck in that same track
you don't want to hear what's new, you hide behind a wall
always living in the past, that ain't living at all

you don't see why it shouldn't be like it's always been
ain't your concern if someone else takes it on the chin
so you hunker down, stand your ground, happy in the hole you're diggin'
but that's not who i am

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;proud of being a good ol' boy
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;but you've got to understand
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;when it's time to add in a dose of brand new man
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;so i'm living on the edge
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;standing on the ledge

there's so much to discover, so many things to try
i plan on having no regrets when it's my day to die
so let the music play, i'll get up and dance
i'll face my fear of falling, i'll still take the chance
