Already a regular studio collaborator with Richy Ahmed, Michael Jansons AKA Jansons strikes it solo on the fourth release for Richy’s flourishing Four Thirty Two label.  

The “Mode” EP finds Jansons following up from recent chart topping original releases and remixes for Knee Deep In Sound, Lower East and his “Panic At The Disco” single on Leftroom, which is their best selling single on Beatport to date.  It’s a bumper 4 track EP, showcasing and encapsulating the many shades of Jansons unique sound, and bolstered with a remix from aforementioned collaborator and label boss, Richy Ahmed.

The Original Mix of “Mode” comes correct with plenty of classic house music chops; frenetic synth keys jab away over a rubbery, percussive groove for a sophisticated and energizing club cut, whilst Ahmed plumps for a real old skool flavor on his remix.  Chugging drums and a tight bassline give more than a whiff of classic Windy City house vibes on this killer remix. 

Two versions of “Colours” are packed with hypnotizing string riffs and bumpin’ percussion, with the “Alternative Mix” edging it in the more stripped down techno stakes, whilst “Sequential” find Jansons in disco mood, with rolling drums, string stabs and a deadly bottom end groove that wraps up a fine release from this burgeoning British talent.

Belfast’s blk(be-el-kay) is shining the dark light over a new generation of Ireland based producers creating authentically fierce hardstyle & techno. Followers may recall the blk track "I Need a Boiler Room" from our SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME III compilation which made an indelible impression on mentalists everywhere, was featured in The Blessed Madonna's recent Boiler Room" set (go check it on on Apple Music), as well as the shtonking Mixmag Lab set by London’s ABSOLUTE. A fine addition to the intersecting sets of discerning good music and techno afficando’s everywhere. His debut EP "Don't Talk, Just Listen" comprising 5 all new tracks that fall in no certain order between the realm of A1 bangers, dance floor belters, party shellers, head stompers, and nose bleeding thumpers. (fun fact: the legendary Jesse F Keeler of Death From Above 1979 and MSTRKFT mastered these tracks for maximum heavy dance voltage, a further stamp of approval i cannot fathom). 
You’re curious. So put your hand in the box and let’s see who the Kwisatz Haderach truly is. 
Opening track “6667888” beckons you into the corridor of booom. You sense something happening in the warehouse down the street. From the rattle in your teeth, the hairs on your arms. There is electricity in the air. You feel that already. Electricity, like Thor’s hammer about to come down harder than the Tuesday night after Dekmantel finishes. You clearly chose the red pill. Duh! “Kick Out” follows and as the beads of sweat start to percolate to the surface of your forehead you find yourself diving into the oncoming river rapids. It’s ok, you are the river. You are the rocks. You are the sand. You are the jam. Kick out the jams. “Johnny Cage Wins” marks the halfway point and by now the dark energy of this music has you, and is about to pull your head off, spine and all. It’s true. The rush is in full effect. There’s no longer any point fighting it. Struggling will make it worse. This tune will beat you but it's a flawless victory. Double Fatality. Just give in and be swept along. But it's all good as you come up so does the tempo of “Girl” and whirling pads wrap around you like a multicolored euphoric serpent. Sssssssss. The cathedral like “Girl Descendent” completes the circuit and we approach the event horizon of this techno ritual. You have valiantly welcomed this release into every crack of your body. You are soaked with endorphins. Your eyes need a hug. You have been elevated by the spiritually enhanced hard style of blk. It’s ok. Shhhh. Don’t Talk. Just Listen.
