Hyde, formerly known as Ricky Survive, is a recognized techno and house producer based out of New Jersey, USA. Hyde’s unique twist on the house and techno genres is influenced by the sounds of Michael Bibi, Latmun, and Eddy M. 

His abilities to merge old-school hip-hop, R&B, and disco with techno and house has lead to an abundance of diverse releases and spontaneous DJ sets that always bring high energy and groovy vibes.  He's got a busy 2022 in the works with forthing releases on Circus Recordings + more.  He makes his debut on SOUP with his Achin' EP, two Hip Hop tinged tracky Tech House cuts aimed squarely at the dancefloor.

This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Karim Abouelnaga.  Karim is CEO of Practice Makes Perfect (PMP), a Public Benefit Corporation that partners with K-12 schools to help narrow the opportunity gap.
 
Karim founded PMP at 18. He is an author, a TED Fellow and Echoing Green Fellow. At 23, he was named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list in Education, and at 24 was named to Magic Johnson’s 32 under 32 list. In 2016, he was ranked in the top 3 most powerful young entrepreneurs under 25 in the world. Karim’s TED Talk was named one of the 9 Most Inspiring Talks of 2017 and his Forbes day-in-the-life feature is Forbes’ most viewed video of all time, collectively garnering over 5 million views.

Flavio Kirilli, aka FK ANYWAY His first step towards being a dj, was at age 16 when he bought his first DJ setup and played in a few clubs, where he grew up in the South of Italy. In 2002, he moved to Riccione where the best clubs and nightlife were located, setting up shop to make his mark.  Working in a top record store by day; producing and playing by night, his knowledge and taste in music were expanding and all the hard work was paying off.

For over 25 years Flavio has been rocking dance floors in clubs all over.  Bookings in Italy include: Matis, Pascià, Echoes, Kamaloca, Nafoura, Peter, Villa delle Rose, PickUp, Chalet delle Rose, Des Alpes, Meet Compact Club, Vanilla, and at international hot spots: 43 Scott (Brooklyn-NY), The Door (NYC), Halcyon (NYC), NiteFlight (Leibnitz, Austria), Salon Daome (Montreal), City at Night (Ottawa), Wiggle Room (Toronto), Fiesta Club (Brussels), Penthouse (Copenhagen), Simons (Copenhagen), Tell Me (Sofia, Bulgaria) and many more...

Flavio hosts his own radio show SUBTERRANEA with guest djs. He has been a guest on other radio shows such as: Rhythm is Rhythm, Ibiza Global Radio, NYC House Radio and many others.

As a person, Flavio is solid!  He is professional and takes his music very seriously. Watching the dancefloor go wild is a rewarding feeling and one that he always strives for. He becomes the maestro, taking the crowd on a musical journey when he plays. With an infectious smile and great attitude on life, it’s all about the vibe.
