New album from Ian North, the complete set of 12 songs in "Everything is Incomplete" to be released on August 4th.

Ian North's new album is a fresh blend of melodic songs that stick in your head. It is full of lyrical and poetic imagery set against a backdrop of contemporary soundscapes, electric lead guitar solos and harmonies. Ian sees and shows us the charm of life from "both sides now."

Ian North has a voice that soars halfway between Bruce Cockburn and Jackson Browne. He writes catchy riffs, sophisticated melodies, and poetic lyrics. His cogent metaphors blend fact and fiction to ask eternal questions, and tell eternal truths. His new album is full of thick, textured sound that enriches the songs, and he always seems to find a unique chord that makes each song shine.

Ian North literally, miraculously, came back from the brink of death to produce his latest album, Everything is Incomplete, filled with songs of hope and resilience. It was recorded during North’s year-long stint in rehabilitation after suffering from a double-lung pulmonary embolism, which caused his heart to stop three times over a two-hour period. Thanks to the heroic efforts of emergency medical staff, North survived a week-long coma and a month’s worth of medical morphine-induced hallucinations. Everything is Incomplete completes one thing, his wife’s wish that he would make another album, and her undying-love promise that she'd help him accomplish that.
