I've slept on FLEX and other (what I call) "SimpleSizers" (like Nexus and Omnisphere). I like programming patches myself. I like having control over oscillation, envelopes, cutoff filters, LFO, etc. I like choosing my synths and the type of synthesis (FM, WaveTable, Additive & Subtractive). But, I guess I should embrace this new wave of audio engineering. This wave of pre-made presets and expansion packs, bc it seems as though this is where the market is headed.
