Ethan Fawkes is an oldschool rave Techno and EBM DJ producer, based in Tilff, Belgium. He’s known for his charismatic presence and combat ready style on stage, comfortably playing anywhere from raves to clubs or shows and festival stages with his signature sound which is a masterclass in unmistakably powerful and personal tracks. His unique vision and tireless work ethic are evidenced by a growing catalogue of original EPs, LPs and remixes for top international labels, winning the respect of his peers, the adoration of fans, and the full attention of DJs and dance floors worldwide.
Growing up in the 80's and 90’s, his passion for music starts at 10 years old with New beat, EBM followed by Belgian Techno. 

Next years he loved listening to grunge and metal bands like Nirvana and Sepultura. This inspired him to learn the guitar. He then got engulfed into 90’s Rave, Techno, EBM, Electro, Acidcore, Industrial and dark Ambient music which ultimately led him to accumulate hardware to fuel this new Electronic fire within.

Inspired by these sounds and from the huge influence of his favourite artists like The Horrorist, Al Ferox, Nitzer Ebb, Apotheosis (Luke Riga), T99, Quadrophonia and Mark Archer (Altern 8), he started DJing around 1995 and eventually creating his own brand of menace in 2001.

Since he started producing his releases have appeared on many outstanding labels including Dancefloor Killers, Kobayashi Recordings, Qubiq Records, Fresh Cut, I-Traxx Red Edition and Bombtrap.

Ethan’s production skills are so insane that he’s been relentlessly recruited to remix artists including The Horrorist, Al Ferox, Clemens Neufeld, Millimetric and Diarmaid O Meara. Frequent collaborations with artists like Danny Casseau often take form and his guest vocals appear on various other releases.

New projects are "Nu Body Records" EBM label run with Fabrice Torricella and "Ethan Fawkes No Label" for self releases cds and vinyls.

As a child, K.atou worshiped at the altar of the family stereo and passionately taped her favorite jams, immersing herself in record collecting at the age of 17 and starting a radio show during her studies in Corfu. After spending time in London and Berlin, she moved back to Athens in 2009 and established residencies at Six d.o.g.s., a series of parties with Roussos under the name “No Expectations”, regular appearances at the queer mobile parties “Qreclaim” and as a resident DJ at PTX Athens with her second moniker “Janet Davis”. Meanwhile, her international DJ schedule blossomed, with performances across Europe, South America, Israel and the U.S. She also currently holds two residencies on Fade Radio and Movement Radio. With her mind focused on carving this dedicated path through DJing, K.atou maintains her position at the forefront of the electronic music scene. The ingredients of her particular sound can be attributed to the classic realms of the 90s house and techno from Detroit, Chicago and Frankfurt, with a penchant of the trippy, dubbed out and sublime.

Fuse resident Downside delivers the ninth release on Fuse Imprint with Traces Of Spring, a record that reflects both clean articulation and careful tension building. Across four tracks, he explores a balance of intensity and restraint, depicting a narrative that mirrors his evolving role within the club.

Opening with Until It Fades, the A1 sets a hypnotic tone through patient layering and ambient space, hinting at drama while maintaining subtlety. With Blackout Protocol, the atmosphere turns into focus through an imposing, clear low-end that takes control, driving a darker framework designed for moments of deepened urgency. On the flip, Revolt moves with raw immediacy, its rhythm pushing forward with detail and weight, yet strangely uplifting. Closing with the title track, Traces Of Spring offers a suspended atmosphere, delicate in rhythm and melody, it's a reflection of the fragile balance between soft synth tension hanging by a thread and a focused, monumental pace.

With this release, Downside contributes a coherent and articulate statement to the Fuse catalogue, one that captures both the physicality of the dancefloor and the subtleties that extend beyond it.
