Moving Through is a piece by Brendan Fernandes performed by 5 dancers at Notre Dame University's Raclin Art Museum with music by Fleming. This soundtrack plays over the main soundsystem in the lobby, and each dancer has a portable speaker simultaneously playing the same track, but at any place in the timecode they choose. At times all dancers gather in the main piece making an echoing iteration of the piece, and then each dancer moves into the individual galleries, moving in front of specific artwork. Audience members moving through the galleries can follow the sound of the music to the place where the artist is performing. Each artwork was chosen by a group of Notre Dame students who then wrote poems for the artwork, to inspire the choreography.
