You all voted for this as the 1st single, so we're obliging. But you should all be warned....... There are some rumours. Supernatural rumours. Fatal rumors. Even. Word of mouth intones this disk was derived from a beached ammonite. Huge: 4 foot diametre. Pungent, evil aura. Every grabber someone tried to snatch it w/ exploded, so scrapers did it old fashioned. Tied ropes around it and dragged it off the beach. People are saying the track is a direct data result of scanning that ammonite - && that the people who scanned it all disappeared within 3 days. Or never existed to begin with. We managed to get a copy via PRIVATE MEANS and passsed it around the house. All the hardware we play it on melts into vile mush and emits nightmare-inducing narcotic fumes. Exonet whispers say fume overexposure is making people drop dead, black tar leaking out their nostrils. Dunno if I believe, but it's 1000% sinister. Anyway we played it on everything and melted all our shit and now I'm writing the update on a fucking Calculator. I have as long to write as it takes for someone to figure out how you can play the track on this too. GOOD SONG.

Updaates on the situation are in order: We're still in the tunnels - Tektonikore have hunkered in low sediments while Sporestyle lurk in the upper bedrock. Tektonikore drifters, spending 24/h a day breathing choking black fumes from increasingly ominous lumbering PCs, have turned into linguistic literalists that believe Tektonikore MUST be manufactured from dirt and rock. All their disks are craggy and brutal and barely playable. @nadpher's trak emerges from those pits. It's got a contentious fragility for its typically snarling scene, though. Rumour suggests the weepy saline piano core is proof of forbidden romance with a Sporestyle maker. No evidence for this at all. There's an actual piano in the tunnels now, though. Sorrrt of. A few NCs tried to fit one through the tunnel entrance but it got wedged. It's since been entirely scrapped, and the strings are suspended wall-to-wall in one of the tunnels, rigged up to a rickety mechanised hammer system. Everybody is trying to make basic-ass midi piano chords and can only get fluttering whispers in return. It's got its freak advocates!

@grippingbeasts' piece crawls out of a burgeoning substrate of ultra-minimal Sporestyle. Tektonikore producers have been hoarding the drills that were previously used for drums, so loads of Sporestyle is just Germ.Musik now. Nobody will it admit it tho LOL. They get really really angry if you bring it up. G.B. has been trying to alchemise single-celled-lifeform-basic ambient pads for months, but eventually threw in the towel. None of the deranged tech in the house is even remotely human-comprehensible and the best they could get was a pile of burbling washes and weird jittering percs. Apparently the pseudo-piano is in there somewhere, but it's evidently been processed down into an unidentifiable see-thru foam. Like three people keep following me around telling me Gripping.Beasts is the one in a romance with Nadpher. I am only saying this so they will leave me alone. Pestulant && Intolerable.
