“500 days of summer” is about the moment everything finally sinks in.

this beat is connected to my first relationship, the same one behind the lost mind on nineteen, an upcoming project that hasn’t been released yet but will be dropping soon. although we officially broke up around november 2022, the last time we spoke was in march 2023. that conversation stayed with me longer than the relationship itself.

she told me she didn’t want me anymore, and there wasn’t much else to say after that. things didn’t end with closure — they just ended. no big explanation, no final understanding. just silence and acceptance setting in at the same time.

this beat captures how i felt in that moment. confused, quiet, and stuck with a knot in my throat. doubting myself, replaying everything, questioning what was real and what i imagined. it felt similar to the ending of 500 days of summer — sitting with the truth after holding onto hope for too long.

this isn’t about anger or blame. it’s about realization. the moment you understand that some people aren’t meant to stay, no matter how deeply you felt for them.
