My first concept album. A tawdry tale of Dave the drummer of a thousand polyrhythms. The story should be in every tunes description but it is very lose and open to interpretation so not too deep...

The story starts with Dave playing drums for Flamboyant Bone only to get sacked in the first week.

This is dedicated to all those fireplace drummers...

Not Now Dave

Dave starts a band with Wild Bill. They play all the local joints and drink all the profits. Dave's drumming gets worse. It's then he has a health scare and needs hospital treatment. Looks like his days playing bars is over...

I made this tune quite quickly and I think it shows. Found a good plugin for the vocal though, gives it a bit of a warm clipping sound.

Starting Again,

Dave has some health issues and has to go to hospital, his sister in law is the only person to help him out.
He feels alone.

You Are The Only One.

After Dave's operation he goes back to his old ways, and discovers he has quite a following.

Dave wakes from the rave to be struck by the munchies only to be sucked into a wormhole and transported to another dimension!

A surprise drop from Hastings psych rock six piece outfit Column258.  A full album was recorded above an abandoned tool hire warehouse on the out skirts of town.  Bringing to mind early Joy Division mixed up with Can or Gong.  "LA Salami" was mixed at Shoretone Studios by Fritz Catlin.
