if you listen closely you can hear a lot of subtle modulation going on - partly rhythmically coming from TAKT, and also with CV from TAKT shaping and altering FIREs sounds on the go...

FLAME is Per Salzwedel, Synth & Modular pioneer from Berlin. Known for clockwork (..eventually would become the multiclock), talking machine, Mäander, Knob Recorder .. and FIRE & TAKT of course, the upcoming drum & rhythm supercouple. Fully engineered & made in Germany!
