Ricardo Martinez, also known as “Flamez Da Prince”' was Born on October 6, 1986 in Brooklyn, New York. From the struggles of having no father figure, to being homeless at a young age, Flamez Da Prince found peace in music. But it wasn’t until he was 11 when the Notorious Biggie album, Life After Death, came out that he was introduced to the world of not just music, but art.

Five years later, his love for music still flowing through his veins, Flamez Da Prince met Albert aka Versatil, JB, Akademix, Vinny and Cali, who were already recording and avid songwriters. They joined forces and created AKA Music. In 2007, Flamez Da Prince met Dennis Garcia, who is currently his manager and the owner of Cypress Soundz. 

With his ambition taking the driver’s seat and with Dennis's guidance,  he released his Ten Toes Challenge in December 2016. On May 6, 2017, he released his first mixtape entitled Royalties From The Hood. His hit song Calle featuring Versatil landed them #14 on the Unsigned Talent Search Vol 55 pt. 22, Future Star on Fleet DJ’s and #15 on Hot 97 Whose Next. Calle also made its appearance on B106 radio. With his mixtape being such a success, he went on to be interviewed by Basquiatlx Ent and Lavish Life Magazine, Nerve DJ’s Radio, DJ Cisco Radio Show and Real Ones Radio. 

He also performed at several events hosted by TheNextBigShowcase.com, Federal District Records to NonStopEntertainment, and Muzix Concert Series. He also collaborated with several artists and managers to help create the Spanglish Tour which showcased artists from Nvma, Duo Herstory and Versatil, just to name a few. 

Knowing this is exactly where he was destined to be, Flamez Da Prince went on to release No Stylist Remix Ft. Nvma, Money In the Grave Remix Ft. Illanoiz and his So Brooklyn Challenge.
