After support from Indie Shuffle and Hilly Dilly for his recent EP, Oscilla whips up a great groove on his remix, which you may hear as he supports Kllo in Adelaide at the end of the month. Freddie Norwood of Untzz Records and house imprint Tsuba (Andhim, Oliver Dollar, Jimpster, Tim Sweeney) delves deep into the realms of house for his 120BPM groover

And last but not least we are proud to introduce a very special remix from relative unknown, Cloudy Future. His recent EP, shared by Stoney Roads is traditional chill, and his remix for Flamingo is perfectly paired with Kacee’s floaty vocals and its oceanic pulse. We cannot wait to hear more from Cloudy Future.
 
In support of "At Sea", the band will hit up the east coast of Australia for a series of energetic live shows. Joining them will be national tour support and triple j Unearthed High finalists Lastlings, a brother / sister electronic duo out of Sydney and a slew of local supports below.

Heart, My (Riffie Remix) - Flamingo

We are deep in the writing process post-exams and pre-Splendour In The Grass. We recently got hold of this really great old National organ and have spent days just writing out jams with nothing but it and an old MPC. 

Slow Burning is a really mellow vibe that came really out of one session, finding some interesting patches and a swung out vibe. We could have held onto it and labored over it for days and weeks but we just unanimously thought in the afternoon, lets just put this out there?

Emerging as one of the cities’ most exciting new bands, Flamingo is a product of Adelaide’s diversifying musical pallet. A three-piece, who discovered the importance of balance dabbling in a concoction of ill down-tempo drum patterns, infectious melody and off-kilter electronica.
Owing their sound to an exposure of various styles and substances whilst supporting the likes of Bonobo, Rüfüs, Giraffage and The Kite String Tangle, Flamingo is the cultivation of determined artistry striving to grow within vibrant culture. 

Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass spots brought the trio to the forefront of (imaginations), exhibiting Flamingo in their natural dwelling – a live habitat to which galvanizing audiences with rawkus live performance is only natural.  

Praise garnered thick and fast on the back of sophomore EP ‘DRIP AWAY’ released through Etc Etc, coinciding with the band’s first national headline tour which saw the trio visit Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
