Closing out the year we got a live recorded mix from Denver local, s ngular ty. This one was captured during a set he played for the leftfield room of local music night, STEAM. Expect heavy bass with experimental forms and sounds overhead, and quite a few broken beats in the mix. While this electronic style is known for the unexpected and unusual, he delivers it cleanly and makes sense of the chaos. Have a safe and happy New Years everybody!!

Not much is known at this time about this artist, but they came through with this mix for us at the last minute and it's really quite well mixed and executed. Last minute, but we're still here in the nick of time for June! (it be like that sometimes lol) We're happy to have our good friend and Denver favorite, LUVr, back for another installment. At the heart of the session is a deep house mix, and yet you don't exactly see that coming when it starts. It kicks off with more of an energetic techno vibe, then runs through some deep tech, minimal grooves before getting to the deep house. It kicks back up to the higher energy sounds toward the end, with an increase in bpm to emphasize the shift. It's a bit of a wild ride, yet still makes sense and I think it's fair to say that's just how he likes it.

Bigup my homie Jon for the We Are IE rekkid that just showed up in my mailbox. Last tune is an original production by myself and Andre Orcutt, dubplate lathe cut on a vinyl recorder by Lewis at Planet Wax. Bigups to Slimzee who had me down to Rinse FM up there in Hoxton for his set while I was visiting - respect.

ONE FORTY- Vinyl Set - November 2023

This is an all vinyl mix, mostly records I have received in the last 6 months. The mix touches on dub and minimal techno, deep house, breaks and electro with programming that builds in intensity and tempo that ranges from roughly 120bpm-135bpm. 

I have not been playing records as often lately and my mixes are admittedly not as tight as I want them to be, nevertheless the slips are short, minor, and, in my opinion, excusable. Especially considering the overall flow of the mix. I hope you'll agree. Please listen, enjoy, and I welcome any feedback or criticism.
