I frist started this experiment when I was supposed to play at a Techno stage in summer 2021. Most who heard me play, know that I'm a sucker for House / Tech House music but when I played Tech House and Dark Tech on 130+ BPM that day, something surprisingly changed. All of the tracks had the Techno energy with the Tech House groove. Fell in love instantly. So with this closing set at Birgit&Bier for my Freirausch family, I have decided to try this again... and it worked like a charm.

Spotlight #47 - MazeKashi

Early in his youth @mazekashi learnt to play piano and e-bass and gained experiences in various bands and music groups. After moving to Berlin in 2016, he immediately was driven by the incredible energy of electronic music, thrilling basslines, electrifying melodies and sharp snares. Maze quickly decided to start DJing to share his passion for music with his own personal touch!
Those familiar with him know that he loves to take over the crowd with his sound, depending on the mood and energy, and take them on a very special musical journey through a wide variety of genres and styles.
Maze is the co-founder of @buschtanz, organizing the lovely Buschtanz festival and other events with an incredible crew, and is also part of @staygold_music.

Bio:

Seit 2013 gestalten Rosalie und Vera die vielen unterschiedlichen Seiten des Lebens 
gemeinsam und haben sich mit „Mehr is Mehr“ den gemeinsamen Wunsch erfüllt, Musik 
zu machen und Kulturorte mitzugestalten.
Spätestens mit dieser Entscheidung wurde klar, dass sich die langjährige Triangelkarriere 
von Vera und die unermüdlichen Musikstunden beim Blockflötenunterricht von Rosalie 
nun endlich auszahlen würden. Als Partners in Crime haben sie ihren gemeinsamen 
Rhythmus gefunden und sind in den letzten Jahren gemeinsam durch die vielfältigen 
Clubs Europas und die endlose Technofestivallandschaft gereist.
Auch wenn die Beiden insgesamt nicht besonders große Fans von Kategorisierungen 
sind, lässt sich der Sound des Duos am besten so beschreiben: Treibende Baselines mit 
melodischen Elementen und stets darauf bedacht, für Abwechslung zu sorgen.
Wer die Beiden einmal live erlebt hat weiß: Der Name ist Programm. „Mehr is Mehr“ steht 
für mehr von all den herzerwärmenden Gefühlen, den hüpfenden Endorphinen und dem 
Vertrauen darin, dass das Gute siegen wird.
Aus purer Liebe entstand das „summa summarum“-Kollektiv was den Beiden wunderbare 
Gestaltungsräume vor den Decks ermöglicht und mit dem sie Veranstaltungen 
organisieren.
Außerdem gehören sie seit Sommer 2021 zu den „Station Endlos“ Residents und 
bebassen mit den anderen endlosen DJs so manchen Floor,

Driving dreams, Chapter III
The dream returned for the 3.rd time this year and exceeded my wildest expectations, Sisyphos you stole my heart and my mind.
Sisyphos invited me very spontaneous to play on the Friday for the “Nicht Geburtstag” unfortunately I could not make it because I had another gig at the same playtime. I was frustrated to not be able to accept the booking because the bday of Sisyphos is always pure madness and a huge honor. They gave me this date as a replacement, and the negativity changed to the most beautiful night in my life. Some friends could plan this happening and made it from far away to see me play this night. 
This was by far the best Gig I had and played so far.  Usually I  don't get nervous before a Gig, but this time was completely different. Right before the Gig, I was so nervous, I had to take multiple deep breaths to not freak out completely. 
The vibe was just out of this world and Hammahalle was packed to till the very end.
Thanks to all the ravers who made this night special and for the producers who send me their newest bangers. 
Also, happy to share the experience with Konfusia, she played a perfect groovy opening set, also Skadi played a great set right after me. Because Hammahalle was so full til the end, the Artistcare asked me to play an extra hour right after Skadis set again.
Sad to mention my record device didn’t caught the insane vibes, but at least it captured the Set in a good Soundquality.
Since over 6 years I go to Sisyphos regularly, but I never saw Hammahalle going that crazy. No words can describe my feelings, I’m grateful, happy and flashed.
This night was magical and felt like a dream, multiple times I was close to cry tears of joy while playing and seeing you go completely mad.
I  can’t wait to do this again, again and again! I wish you a lot of fun with the recording.

🎵 Die heutige Spezialausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts entstand bei einer Symbiotikka im Kit Kat Club. Von 05:30-07:00 Uhr standen Flanko & Clap Codex an den Decks und bescherten den anwesenden Gästen einen einzigartigen Start in den Tag. Getragen von rollenden Basslines, scharfen Synths und mitreißenden Melodien verwandelten die beiden leidenschaftlichen DJ’s und Musikproduzenten, den berühmt-berüchtigten Szeneclub in einen technoiden Schmelztiegel. Neben gemeinsamen Auftritten produzieren die zwei auch Musik zusammen. Dabei treffen sie genau den Zahn der Zeit und überzeugen auch auf

I set this artist name in memory of one of my closest friends Max, he was the one who nicknamed me “Flanko” back in the days.
