Originally, Curtis Williams was named as the composer of the track on the original single. On the second edition of the record, Gaynel Hodge/Jesse Belvin/Curtis Williams were listed as authors and today, according to the US court, Jesse Belvin is the sole author.

Das edle Herz mit einem Text von Ernst Marinelli wurde für vier Gesangstimmen von Anton Bruckner vertont. Das Original ist in klingend A Dur gesetzt, mein Arrangement für zwei Alt und zwei Tenor Saxophone habe in in klingend Ab Dur verfasst.
Das edle Herz (The noble heart) with a text by Ernst Marinelli was set to music for four voices by Anton Bruckner. The original is in tonal A major, my arrangement for two alto and two tenor saxophones is in tonal Ab major.
