Classic 1970s pop song. Recorded on iPad with GarageBand.
I used a Roland Aerophone AE-10, which does a great alto saxophone impression.
I wrote a piano part for this recording that is based on the vocal part. I don’t do this as a rule. I strongly believe that vocal parts should either be sung or omitted completely.
Don’t cover vocal parts on musical instruments. It’s just butchery.

1978 Baker Street

A very Aussie version of a classic 1970s song by The Police.
I recorded this with my Roland Aerophone, which does a great saxophone impression. Ibanez Ergodyne bass guitar and a vintage Fender Stratocaster with compression, chorus, phaser and vibrato.
The hardest part was the drums, which took over four months to program, bar by bar.

Walking on the Moon

Classic Aussie rock song from the early 1970s.

Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster (vintage). Ibanez Bass.
I recorded myself clapping on several different tracks. I love the way the claps turned out.
Great 70s sound.

Classic Aussie rock song, written by a Scottish bloke. Recorded on an iPad with GarageBand. 
1955 Stratocaster, 1954 Telecaster, Ibanez Ergodyne Bass. Flute part played on the Roland Aerophone.

Written on clavichord, it’s a raw rock number that is nostalgic for my Aussie childhood in the seventies.
