One of Perc’s all-time favourite tracks returns on Perc Trax Ltd, an imprint purposely created for reissues and collaborative projects. Originally released in 1993 as part of Thomas Heckmann’s ‘Drax Three’ EP on his own Trope Recordings label, it featured on Carl Cox’s seminal F.A.C.T. mix CD and alongside ‘Amphetamine’ has become one of the biggest tracks of Heckmann’s career. This 12" features three new remixes, all of which twist 'Phosphene' into something new whilst keeping the forward facing attitude of the original in place.

Opening up proceedings are Perc & Truss, hot on the heels of their recent sets at Awakenings and their second EP ‘Two Hundred’. Built upon one of their trademark kick and bass assaults the mix has been a highlight of their sets for months. On the B-side AnD deliver something very different to their previous releases, fusing punk drums with overdriven monosynths, making their forthcoming debut album even more of a mouth-watering prospect. Closing the record is The Exaltics who brings a slice of true analogue electro to Perc Trax with a remix which is one of the highlights of Perc’s forthcoming mix CD.

After an successful Year for Kevin while joining the legendary Drumcode Label he is finally back with a Full-EP on Complexed. Starting with an dumbing 4/4 Kick, a warm Vocal and a mysterious Pad-Sound, a super groovy Sequence is fading in and changing „Out Of Mind“ immediately to a Timeless Classic. While we still feeling the happy Vibes, Kevin doesn’t slow down with „Andromeda“. Unpredictable a Noise comes in and the Arrangement is starting to build up super nice and quickly. The restless Stabs are delivering a huge Warehouse-feeling which can create massive Vibes on the Dancefloor. Without any Break or Warning the pumping Bassline of „Perception“ is making his Way. Accompanied with an Old-School 909 Hi-Hat, this Track proves very early to be a Banger. After a complete Snare Break-Out a Vocal joins the Arrangement and completes everything. A very rare but super effective Production. 
„When Time Stops“ is slowing things down really nicely with a warm Synth and some similar Percussions. Emotional and Dramatic - a nice Journey to listen.
Ukraine’s amazing Talent Skober took Part of the Remix for „When Time Stops“ and created a massive Rave-Monster. Cooking up the Vibe with his typical Character and a female Vocal, the main Synth joins the the Production until the amazing Beat-Off Break makes his Way through and creates Goosebumps.

Berlin-based Irish artist Hybrasil delivers a high-grade debut album on Radio Slave’s Rekids. Since moving to Berlin Hybrasil has been an avid buyer of records at Hardwax, going to modular workshops at the cult Schneidersladen, attending Superbooth and Berlin Atonal, Panorama Bar and Berghain, whilst releasing his big, arresting techno sounds on his own eponymous label. Alongside this he’s been spending time in the studio with Radio Slave, who played Hybrasil's ‘Hathor’ in Panorama Bar which kicked off a three-month burst of creativity that led to this album. As such, the album is very much a product of the artist's time in Berlin and was written for the Panorama Bar and Berghain sound system and all who attend its dance halls.

The album takes off with the smooth rolling techno of'Hathor'; that gets you on your toes, while 'Come Back'; soon ups the ante thanks to the way Hybrasil twists and turns his synths above the rooted kick drums. 'Ceres'; then has edgy sustained chords and thunderous claps that will sound mega in a cavernous warehouse space.

'Orpeheus'; is a masterclass in economical but effective techno, with well-crafted hi hats, rolling kicks and vocal stabs all driving it forward. 'Ursa Minor'; traps the listener in unresolved loops that keep a locked groove, until 'Messier'; mixes up seriously weighty bass-drum thuds and Jeff Mills style melodic minimalism. The compelling LP completes with 'Igigi'; and 'Vela', two more astral techno rollers with celestial synths and devastating drum programming.

Hybrasil - Hathor

Alex Bilancini returns to Etruria Beat following the success of 2018's 'Crack of Doom' EP, with his new 'Oblivion' EP featuring three cavernous cuts backed by an impressive remix from talented French producer Blicz.
One of Italy's rising talents within Techno, guided by Etruria Beat owner and fellow Tuscany favourite Luca Agnelli, Alex Bilancini's sharp rise has seen him gain the attention of many whilst performing across a number of his home nations key establishments, from Tenax to Kindergarten. Having released his 'Crack Of Doom' EP on the label last year, here we see the young Italian return to Eturia Beat to deliver his second full EP on the imprint, whilst rising talent Blicz also makes a return to step up on remix duties.
Title track 'Oblivion' combines heavy kick drums and marching percussion, whilst sweeping builds and releases of energy and suspense throughout maximise the production's dancefloor impact, whilst 'Segments' is dominated by eerie and hauntin pads, escalating in the break to provide an epic feeling to the ensemble. 'Eternal Rise' follows armed with dark synths, raw drums and sharp 909 rhythms that encapsulate Bilancini's trademark style, before Blic's interpretation concludes the vinyl release package as the French producer expresses his own raw and powerful style, backed by a heavy groove and punchy drums to reveal an imposing drive throughout.
