O EP “The Groove Connect” carrega três faixas, “Beat Creator”, “Show Time”, e “I Have a Dream", em colaboração com o brasiliense Drox.

“Beat Creator” é um convite ao diferente, com elementos marcantes. A faixa é contagiante, explosiva, e carrega vocais que dão um toque especial ao conjunto.

“Show Time” é alegre e empolgante, com vocais que caracterizam bem a potência da faixa. A ideia é reforçar o conceito de um recomeço, sonhar alto e chegar ao topo.

Já “I Have a Dream", foi desenvolvida em cima do discurso público histórico feito pelo ativista americano, pastor Martin Luther King, contra a segregação racial e a
necessidade da união e coexistência harmoniosa entre negros e brancos no futuro. O vocal foi escolhido pelo brasiliense Drox, com uma batida bem marcante e bass cativante, o objetivo é passar a mensagem junto às sonoridades do tech house.

David Duriez is known for making House and proper underground electronic music since the beginning of the 90's - 30 years in the music industry, founder and keeper of the [briquerouge] label, home of the best french electronic renegades since 1999, David Duriez is lurking in the shadow of the french Electronic scene, keeping it real and true. Artist in various styles of music, dj and innovator, he's always in search of new ways to distribute and value Electronic Music and always a step ahead. Definitely not just one for the hype.

Since 1994, David released over a hundred records under his name, tens under various pseudonyms, outputs mainly vinyl on the most renowned labels like 2020Vision, Ovum, Systematic, Pokerflat, F Communication, Mobilee, Under the Counter, Stickman, Classic Music Company, Crosstown Rebels, The End, etc .. (the list is long, see Discogs.com to be convinced) and as many remixes for some of the greatest (think Moby, DJ Hell, Telex, Random Factor, Johnny Fiasco, Paul Johnson, Kenny Hawkes or Mr.C).

Founder of the label Brique Rouge in 1999 and a whole galaxy of other labels, he participated in the creation of internationally recognized labels such as Robsoul, Freak n'Chic or Rz Muzik. David has carved out his own niche with his pigeonhole defying Brique Rouge label, and his helping to redefine underground electronic music. Brique Rouge has released deep house, jacking house, tech-house, acid house, vocal anthems and much more... Definitely a label for open-minded people, not stuck in one genre of House.

Jamie Jones’ Hottrax welcomes Keno Records’ boss David Keno with his two part ‘WTF’ EP.

Berlin-based Swiss producer David Keno has been a time-tested member of the music industry for a decade and a half. A classically trained drummer and guitarist, Keno dabbled in rock bands early in his career before turning to electronic production under his former alias Vernis. As a result his approach to production fuses various styles, evident in his outstanding releases on heavyweight labels such as Relief, Toolroom, Suara and Noir. Aside from being an international producer and DJ, he also launched his successful Keno Records imprint in 2007 which has since seen over fifty releases.

‘WTF’ delivers a powerful kick, shuffling claps and dense percussion, revealing a churning bass and infectious vocal cuts, before ‘Faceblind’ expertly builds with pitched risers and a rhythmic chopped vocal grabs centre stage amidst gliding bass and clinical drums.
