Flashback of Anger is a power-melodic metal band, born in June 2003. Between 2004 and 2005, they moved their first step on local metal underground, reaching positive reviews fast and a surprisingly high demand. On the wave of these good results, Flashback of Anger had two great opportunities: playing at the Evolution Festival (alongside bands like Kamelot, Nevermore, Virgin Steele, Fates Warning and many others) and recording their debut album SPLINTERS OF LIFE at the High Gain Studios of Arne Lakenmacher (tour manager of Nevermore and Amon Amarth), Dirk Schlächter and Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray), under the artistic direction of Dirk. After this experience the singer Alessio Gori went on tour with Gamma Ray as official keyboard player for their Hellish Rock Tour with Helloween in 2007/08.

In 2012, after a break, because of the sad loss of the bass player Francesco Masini, Andrea Torricini (Vision Divine) join FoA, just in time to take part in the new album.

T.S.R. (Terminate And Stay Resident) was released in august 2014 under the german label IceWarrior Records. Fabio Lione (Vision Divine, Rhapsody Of Fire, Angra) appears as special guest on a track of the album.

In 2017 the band starts the recording session of the thirdalbum SHADES with the new lineup.
The album was released on November 15th  with Icewarrior Records, while the single “Numbers” has been digitally released on July 5th 2018.

The band made several concerts in Italy, Czech Republic and Norway, as headliner or opener to band like Kamelot, Vision Divine, DGM, Elvenking and others.
